Our Story

We are a woodworking workshop based in Honolulu, Hawaii.

At Vicky Oh, we design and build custom pieces that highlight the natural beauty of wood—through texture, proportion, and material honesty. Each piece is made with intention, whether it’s a one-off furniture piece, architectural panels, or an object meant to live in your everyday space.

Our work is shaped by our surroundings. Living in Hawaii, we are constantly connected to nature—through the ocean, the mountains, and the rhythm of the island. Time spent outdoors—surfing, hiking, practicing yoga, or simply watching the sunset—informs the way we approach our work.

We believe that wood should be experienced, not just seen.
Our work is defined by texture—surfaces that invite touch, respond to light, and reveal their character over time. Combining digital fabrication with hands-on processes, we embrace both precision and irregularity, allowing each piece to remain unique.

We value simplicity, material integrity, and thoughtful execution. Rather than over-designing, we focus on creating pieces that feel grounded, lasting, and connected to their environment.

We collaborate closely with interior designers, architects, and clients who share this approach. Our focus is fabrication, with a flexible process that adapts to each project while maintaining a high standard of execution.

All pieces are made locally in our Honolulu workshop.

This is our way of working with wood.
This is our way of living.
